Thomas Assembly Center 

The Thomas Assembly Center, home of the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs Men's and Women's Basketball teams, is a large-scale multipurpose indoor arena. Thomas Assembly Center was opened in November 1982 and has been the home of Louisiana Tech Bulldog Basketball ever since. It also has been the home of Louisiana Tech Lady Techster Volleyball since the Louisiana Tech Volleyball program was started in 1987. Although the outside and structural shell of the Thomas Assembly Center has remained unchanged since it was built, in the summer of 2007 the Thomas Assembly Center received a large face-lift by way of a brand new floor. The state of the art Maplewood Floor, which is the same material and floor pattern that all of the NBA practice facilities use was installed after a very generous donation by Karl Malone, a Louisiana tech legend.


Home of the Louisiana Tech Bulldog Basketball Team 

The Thomas Assembly Center seating chart can hold up to 8,000 screaming and cheering Louisiana Tech Bulldogs Basketball fans. The fan support along with extremely talented home teams have made the Thomas Assembly Center one of the hardest arenas in the NCAA to play in on both the Men's and the Women's side, which is unique in NCAA Basketball. The Thomas Assembly Center has also been the home of 25 NCAA Tournament Teams, including the 1988 National Champion Team.


Louisiana Tech Bulldog Alumni 

Both the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs and the Louisiana Tech Lady Techsters have had incredible winning streaks within Thomas Assembly Center, including 13 perfect season within Thomas Assembly Center for the Lady Techsters and 24 strong winning season for the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs Men's basketball team. Several NBA players received their start at Louisiana Tech an the Thomas Assembly Center including Karl Malone, P.J. Brown and Randy White.
